You Are Invited to the Webinar: Where Do We Stand on Children's Rights? Turkey Report Card 2019–2025

You are invited to the online meeting where we will evaluate the recent developments in the field of children's rights based on the findings of international human rights mechanisms.

At the meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 16, between 14:00–15:00, we will discuss the findings of international human rights mechanisms on Turkey in the field of children's rights, common patterns, and structural problems during the 2019–2025 period.

In the webinar featuring Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ulaş Karan, a legal scholar and academic specializing in human rights law and anti-discrimination, we will comprehensively discuss topics ranging from the child justice system to child marriages, from corporal punishment to discrimination, and to rights violations concerning refugees and vulnerable groups.

We invite all related NGO representatives, field workers, and everyone working/interested in children’s rights to join this shared space for learning and discussion.

You can register for the event here.

This event is organized within the scope of the “Accountability for Children, Advocacy for Rights” (ACAR) Project, carried out with the co-financing support of the European Union, and within the framework of the strategic partnership established with UNICEF as part of the “Capacity Building Project for Monitoring, Reporting, and Advocacy by NGOs Working in the Field of Children’s Rights.”
