The workshop, to be held at the Hatay Çekmece Community Center, aims to strengthen spaces of solidarity and collective action among youth organizations, bringing together groups active in the youth field to create a new roadmap shaped by the needs and expectations of young people.
It will also provide a platform for youth organizations to discuss their priorities in the post-disaster context, share experiences, and take collective steps toward building a solidarity network. Through discussions on crisis preparedness, disaster awareness, and mechanisms that enhance young people’s participation in social life, the workshop seeks to shape an inclusive youth network model.
All youth organizations active in Hatay are invited to join. Those interested can complete the participation form no later than Wednesday, 8 October, 18:00.
Note: The workshop is open only to civil society organizations working in the youth field in Hatay. Travel and accommodation expenses cannot be covered for representatives of organizations coming from outside the city.
The Empowering Youth and Building Collective Resilience in Hatay Project is implemented by the Ali İsmail Korkmaz Foundation (ALİKEV) with the support of the EU-funded “Strengthening CSO Capacity in Disaster Risk Management Project” carried out by STGM.
