The European Commission encourages the work being done to improve the social inclusion of Roma people in Turkey and in Western Balkan. One of the initiatives for this is the EU Award for Roma Integration, which was launched in 2014.
"2021 EU Award for Roma Integration" is open for the applications of Roma or non-Roma real and legal persons (including teachers, healthcare professionals, small businesses and social enterprises) conducting activities in public institutions, the private sector and civil society organizations based in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, established in Serbia and Turkey.
The competition can be applied for both personal nominations and nominations by other stakeholders who want to draw attention to a related initiative.
The deadline for application is April 30, 2021.
