Basic information brochures on sexual and reproductive health are published

The Young Approaches to Health Association has produced basic sexual and reproductive health information brochures for young people affected by the February earthquakes. You can access brochures both online and in print that inform young people about topics such as sexual and reproductive health, contraceptive methods, menstrual cycles, sexually transmitted infections, bodies, admissions, and safe relationships.

What do the brochures say?

  1. Am I Ready for First Sex? informs teens about first sex and points to consider before having sex for the first time. Click here for the brochure.

  3. How Much Do We Know About HIV? The brochure contains detailed information about testing, diagnosis, and treatment that reflects current knowledge. Click for the brochure.

  5. What are the Contraceptive Methods? Learn what an unwanted and/or high-risk pregnancy is, the psychological and physical effects it has on individuals, methods available to prevent an unwanted and/or high-risk pregnancy, and how safe abortion works. Click for the brochure.
  6. What are the Steps of Safe Sex, which explains what sexuality is and the steps to safe sex and how to affirm and communicate safely in sexuality. Click for the brochure.
