KA.DER is looking for an Administrative Office Assistant and Projects Coordinator.

The Association for Supporting Women Candidates (KA.DER) is a women's organization advocating equal representation of women in all fields. Although women in Turkey have proven their presence in different social areas, they are still far from equal representation in senior management, especially in politics. KA.DER, which was established in March 1997 to eliminate this inequality, to ensure the participation of all citizens in decisions, to gain women's experience and the ability to produce solutions in social and political fields, works to increase the representation of women in all decision-making bodies that are elected and appointed. KA.DER conducts lobbying, advocacy, campaigning, organizing, solidarity, and training activities to achieve these goals.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE ASSISTANT

To KA.DER Mecidiyeköy Head Office; to carry out communication and correspondence of the association, filing and archiving of documents, to carry out association member relations and transactions, to assist the General Management Board (GYK) by following the daily, weekly, and monthly business plans for the organization to proceed in an organized manner in line with the activities and transactions of the association; an administrative office assistant who speaks English and has the knowledge of effectively using office programs and electronic transactions and the necessary programs for this will be recruited.

Applicants must have three years of experience in office administration and be university graduates.

PROJECTS COORDINATOR

The primary field of work and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator, who will work at the Headquarters office in Istanbul under the KA.DER General Management Board (GYK) and coordinate all national and international projects carried out by KA.DER, are as follows:

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Working full-time within the scope of projects carried out by the Association
  • Following the project announcements and informing the GYK about the subject
  • Fulfilling the processes related to the project and concluding the project following the target
  • Making weekly/monthly/yearly plans within the scope of the project and following the progress, writing internal reports about the project, informing the relevant people in the association,
  • Following up the financial affairs of the project, doing the necessary research for purchases and presenting the outputs to the relevant person, preparing the reports to be submitted to the association officials and the grant provider on the developments regarding the project budget,
  • Establishing and maintaining the necessary communication with all the stakeholders of the project (related public units, CSOs, project participants, beneficiaries),
  • Ensuring and improving the functioning of the groups and networks to be formed as per the project, informing the relevant groups about the developments in the project,
  • Organizing events, workshops, meetings, etc. to be held in the project, demonstrating promotional activities in events; providing feedback and reporting on events,
  • Supporting the creation of contents such as promotion, announcement, etc. about the project through working with the relevant person in the association,
  • Being able to carry out the project following all legislation and procedures,
  • Participating in capacity building activities and target-strategy meetings held within the association,
  • Following the work of the networks and platforms that the association is involved in and developing joint projects with the institutions in the relevant network/platforms,
  • Making the reports related to the project under the project legislation and the project schedule,
  • To make regular reports on project activities to the KA.DER General Board of Directors,
  • Preparing project applications and following the execution processes (national and international funds).

Primary Qualifications Required in Candidates:

  • Graduated from related departments of universities (sociology, psychology, international relations, political science, etc. social sciences),
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a volunteer or professional in Civil Society Organizations,
  • At least 3 years of experience in project execution and reporting,
  • Advanced English reading, writing, and speaking skills Knowledgeable, aware, and field experience in women's studies,
  • Successful in human relations and prone to teamwork,
  • Having efficient presentation skills, strong representation and expression skills, prone to teamwork,
  • Having the skills and experience in organizing events, conferences, meetings where high participation is expected,
  • Able to use the Internet and MS Office programs effectively,
  • No travel restrictions Residing or able to reside in Istanbul.
