Purpose & Working Method
The main purpose of EDbN is to improve the situation of visually-hearing impaired individuals by ensuring equal rights and full participation in society, and to create a platform of knowledge and experience sharing among organizations operating in Europe on visually-hearing impaired individuals.
For this purpose, EDbN carries out activities to support and assist visually-hearing impaired individuals, their families and those who work for these individuals, to improve the living conditions of visually-hearing impaired individuals in Europe, to ensure their rehabilitation and integration into the society, to provide and develop information and experience sharing among organizations and other institutions working in this field, to conduct and support research and scientific studies on all kinds of issues affecting visually-hearing impaired individuals, to collect and distribute information on the situation of visually-hearing impaired individuals in Europe, and to provide technical and physical support to national organizations that carry out activities for visually-hearing impaired individuals, their families and those working for the benefit of these individuals.
