The vision of the Federation is to be a dynamic network where knowledge is shared and understanding is developed in order to enrich the world of art and cultural diversity. Founded in 2001, IFACCA is a network of arts councils and ministries of culture, with members in more than 70 countries. The IFACCA Secretariat provides services, information and resources to member organizations and their staff - from senior executives and policy makers, to researchers, grantees and executives - as well as to the wider community.

Purposes and the Way of Work

IFACCA's mission is to create an international resource and meeting platform for all who believe that promoting diversity and excellence within artistic work is a public responsibility.

Membership and Membership Requirements

All national arts councils and cultural institutions that support the development of arts through funding and / or encouragement, as well as persons and organizations concerned with cultural policy and providing public support to the arts can become members.

IFACCA has more than 100 national members.

There are two types of members: National members and associated members.
