The Freedom of Belief Initiative is continuing to monitor hate crimes based on religion, belief or non-belief for 2023 and 2024. You can also help monitor hate crime that you know about by using the form.
Hate crimes targeting individuals or communities because of their religion, belief or non-belief continue to be a serious problem in Turkey. The Freedom of Belief Initiative conducts systematic monitoring and reporting activities to increase the visibility of these crimes and contribute to the development of effective strategies to combat them.
To increase the visibility of hate crimes, you can report hate crimes based on religion, belief or non-belief that you have experienced or know of as a victim or witness to the Freedom of Belief Initiative via the reporting form.
