Sub-Grant Applications Started for CSOs working in the field of improving gender equality in Turkey are open

In order to promote positive change and strengthen community initiatives within the framework of the WE ACT project funded by the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey under the Thematic Program on Human Rights and Democracy, ALDA and Daktilo 1984 Association are launching a sub-grant program targeting civil society organizations.

"Sub-Grant Program for CSOs Operating in the Field of Improving Gender Equality in Turkey" aims to fund 21 effective projects that will support local development and raise awareness, with up to €4000. Projects that have a visible benefit to society and/or can create social belonging are expected to become regular activities with financial sustainability or are able to generate additional resources.
Although the main target group of this call is CSOs working in the fields of gender equality, LGBTI+ rights, anti-discrimination (e.g. on the basis of gender, religion and/or ethnicity), civil rights and fundamental human rights, this call is not limited to these. The call is also open to CSOs that can demonstrate that their project proposals have a common benefit with the themes described above, but are not actively working in these areas.

The duration of the sub-grant projects is expected to be a maximum of 10 months. Selected applicants are expected to start their project activities on June 1, 2024 and complete all activities by March 31, 2025 at the latest.

Application deadline: April 7, 2024 / 23:59
