Organized in partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) Youth Organizations Forum of Turkey (GoFor), the We Are Also Programme organizes training, mentoring, and networking events for young women between the ages of 22-30 who want to take an active part in local politics and have a say in political decision-making processes. aims to strengthen and increase their participation in local politics by supporting them for 9 months. Application Criteria:
- To be between the ages of 22-30.
- To have worked professionally or voluntarily for at least one year in a civil society organization, trade union, or political party organization.
- Being a member/volunteer of a non-governmental organization or political party organization, district/province.
- To be committed to full participation in the activities during the program.
Program Dates: October 2021-June 2022
Where? Online (There is also the possibility of physical activities if pandemic conditions allow.)

Program Scope
In the program that will take place between October 2021 and June 2021, you will embark on an intensive 9-month program specially prepared to help you chart your political career where you can gain new competencies and perspectives:
- Capacity Building Stage where you can develop your leadership competencies
- Networking Events where you will meet program participants and women leaders active in politics and expand your network
- Mentoring Process where you will receive support for 3 months from experienced female leaders who can lead you in creating your participation roadmap
- At the end of the program, you can apply to the Civic Participation Support Program to receive in-kind & financial support for your project that you will develop in the field of civic participation.
