You are invited to the Panel on the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse and Children's Rights

The Network for the Rights of Children with Disabilities is organizing a panel discussion within the framework of "November 19, the Day for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse" and "November 20, the World Day for the Rights of the Child".

As these two special days provide an opportunity for advocacy, the panel will be held online on November 18 to draw attention to the human rights of children with disabilities. Participation is planned from civil society organizations, international organizations, bar associations, families, educators, students, representatives of public institutions and activists.

Disabled Children's Rights Network Lawyers will host experts and rights defenders from Lawyers Working for Children Network, Istanbul Bar Association Disability Rights Center, UNICEF Turkey, GlobalChild, Partnership Network for the Prevention of Violence Against Children, Prevention of Child Abuse and Negligence Association, Diyarbakır Bar Association, Minus 25 Association, Monitoring Association for Equal Rights, Romani Godi, Flying Broom Women's Communication and Research Association and Denizli Autism Association.

Speakers will also draw attention to the protective and supportive measures that should be taken to protect children, especially children with disabilities, from all types of neglect and abuse.

The panel discussion is open to all interested parties.
