You are invited to the "Religion or Belief-Based Hate Crimes - 2020 Report" introductory meeting!

The Freedom of Belief Initiative invites you to the online introductory meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 19.30, where the findings of the 2020 Report on Religion or Belief Based Hate Crimes in Turkey will be shared. At the meeting, Freedom of Belief Initiative Project Coordinator Dr. Mine Yıldırım will share the findings obtained from the monitoring study conducted on religion or belief-based hate crimes in Turkey in 2020. Then, we will talk with Umut Şahin, Secretary General of the Union of Protestant Churches, and Celal Fırat, President of the Federation of Alevi Associations, about the impact of hate crimes on religious or belief groups and the methods of combating these crimes. The moderator of the event is Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law Faculty Member Dr. Asuman Aytekin İnceoğlu.
