Memory Antakya Documentary Screening and Talk
At December’s culture and arts event, we held a screening of the short film “Memory Antakya” with the participation of Mustafa Kemal University faculty member and Memory Antakya Project Manager Alim Koray Cengiz. After the screening, an enjoyable conversation was held with Cengiz about the film; evaluations of Antakya’s cultural heritage were shared with the participants.
Resource Development Training
As part of the first training event of the new year, on January 16 we organized a “Resource Development Training” for CSO employees. In the training led by our resource development expert Selin Berghan, sustainable resource creation strategies for civil society were discussed and participants shared their experiences and suggestions.
Introduction to Civil Society Legislation and Legal Obligations
On January 23, we organized a training on “Introduction to Civil Society Legislation and Legal Obligations” moderated by our legal expert Pınar Özütemiz. In this training, we aimed to increase CSO employees’ knowledge and awareness of legal processes. Legal obligations were addressed alongside practical examples.
Culture and Arts Gathering: Book Signing Day and Talk
The last cultural event of January was a book signing day and talk for the poetry book “Atlas of Those Who Left Early.” At the event, the book’s author Utkun Büyükaşık shared his work and creative process with the participants.
