Genç Hayat Foundation is looking for Project Monitoring and Evaluation Accountability Officers.

General Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation of the logical framework during the project writing stages,
  • Developing monitoring and evaluation tools (pre-test post-tests, registration forms, surveys, etc.) and databases, revising them when necessary,
  • Controlling the data collection and data entry processes to be carried out by field workers within the scope of the project,
  • Daily data entry,
  • Reporting regularly (daily, weekly, monthly) about data collection processes to the MEAL coordinator and related unit employees,
  • Ensuring regular follow-up of project indicators,
  • Analyzing the data and writing reports following the reporting templates and processes used within the scope of the project,
  • Ensuring that data collection, storage, and reporting processes are managed under Personal Data Protection Law
  • Taking responsibility in learning, complaint, and feedback processes apart from monitoring and evaluation processes.
  • Reporting the difficulties experienced in the data collection process,
  • Transferring MEAL processes to the field team,
  • Performing other responsibilities that the position may require (Literature review, new data collection tools, conducting studies on data visualization tools, etc.).

Desired Qualifications

  • Being graduated from related departments of universities (statistics, mathematics, sociology, anthropology, psychology, educational sciences, etc.),
  • Being preferably fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing reports),
  • Knowing qualitative and quantitative research methods,
  • Being proficient in MS Office tools (especially Excel),
  • Having data analysis and visualization skills,
  • Knowing social impact analysis,
  • Having the research methods knowledge and being open to self-development,
  • Having statistical knowledge,
  • Preferably using SPSS,
  • Preferably with experience working with disadvantaged groups,
  • Preferably with experience of working/volunteering in the field of civil society,
  • Having a high teamwork motivation,
  • Having a high desire to learn,
  • Having high problem-solving skills,
  • Having no travel restrictions,
  • Being able to adapt to flexible working hours and, 
  • Those who live or are able to live in one of the cities of Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, Eskisehir, and Izmir.
