Right to Health Association Seeks Volunteers

The Right to Health Association is now accepting volunteer applications for its 4th term.

The Right to Health Association advocates for institutions and individuals by promoting the right to health and health literacy, raising awareness and building capacity. Brief information about what volunteers do at the Association can be found below;

Research & Project

Develop interdisciplinary projects with social impact by systematically addressing and solving problems related to health and literacy rights; plan research and activities to develop scholarship and literature; conduct sponsorship activities using grants and funds related to these processes.

blog

Write original and qualified articles to raise awareness by tracking relevant issues, especially the right to health and health literacy. Authors are expected to write at least 1 article per month. There are writing guides and resources for writing articles. Editing of articles is done here. Content is created for right to health topics on Wikipedia.

Online reputation management (social media & networking and sales)
Creating content for social media, using Canva based on monthly calendar, planning social media campaigns, reaching audiences using digital tools, copywriting, fundraising and donor communications, creating lists for distribution of materials developed by the association. It undertakes tasks such as the implementation of processes related to networks of which we wish to become members and national and international organizations of which we are members.

Legal support

Through the representation of the Right to Health Association's legal personality before the judiciary, judicial and administrative proceedings against violations of the right to health are conducted. Papers are prepared or expert opinions are issued on the issues on the agenda. It carries out the planning of the necessary intervention and assistance, evaluates the violation of the right to health and the requests for legal assistance addressed to our Association through the Call Center and other channels.

Psychological support
Individuals who contact us about a violation of the right to health receive therapeutic or informational support, depending on the details of the case; counseling is provided; studies are conducted to improve mental health and awareness in society through translation and research.

Law and policy development
We conduct studies on legal development related to the right to health; we compile court decisions; we plan training content for health professionals, law students, and lawyers; we prepare association policy documents.

Translation

Selects sources to be translated into Turkish based on an international literature review, translates and edits related materials, and is responsible for the English translation of the Association's website.

The Right to Health Association conducts its activities through the remote work method. The Association welcomes applications from working, non-working or student individuals from all countries, all age groups and all professions.
