She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Communication. Between 1990 and 2013, she worked as a reporter, editor, producer, presenter, and communications manager at mainstream media organizations and digital broadcasting platforms. During this period, she was responsible for content planning and campaign coordination in numerous social responsibility campaigns. She designed and presented Life's Rhythm, Turkey's first television program focused on civil society, on a mainstream news channel; she also led documentary series and social responsibility awareness projects on the same channel. Her work has been recognized with awards by the Turkish Journalists’ Association, the Turkish Federation of Journalists, and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Since 2013, she has been working as a communications consultant and trainer with civil society organizations. She has received national and international training in Nonviolent Communication; with the perspective gained from these trainings, she has focused on the “transformative potential of communication” since 2016. Since 2020, her work has centered on the dimension of communication that involves “building connections and creating a sense of trust,” continuing with international and science-based approaches. She currently serves as a senior communications consultant for the Resource Center Project for NGOs in Turkey.
