Türkiye Kalkınma Vakfı (TKV) is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, and a Program Field Coordinator.

MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER JOB CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will work in Gaziantep within the framework of the program "Supporting Syrian & Turkish Children and Youth through Early Childhood Education, Protection, Empowerment and Skills Programs" implemented by the Türkiye Kalkınma Vakfı. The duration of the work is 17 (seventeen) months.

The qualifications and job descriptions required of applicants are listed below:

Required Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in the social sciences from a college or have a Master's degree in one of these fields,
  • Knowledge of and experience with qualitative and quantitative research techniques,
  • Proficient in the use of MS office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint),
  • At least 5 years of experience in social development or development projects,
  • At least 2 years of monitoring and evaluation experience,
  • No obstacle to travel,
  • Good command of the English language (speaking, reading and writing).

Job Description:

  • Actively participate in various data collection processes to improve the quality of the program (collecting beneficiary information, validation, measuring satisfaction, etc.),
  • Participate in evaluation studies conducted jointly with project partners,
  • Active use of electronic data collection tools,
  • Daily reporting on the results obtained and the difficulties encountered during data collection,
  • Increased participation of project beneficiaries in project proposals through collaboration with institution staff and partner institutions on project proposals,
  • Support institution staff as needed on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning, Basic principles of humanitarian response, Transparency, Data collection, Data entry, Data cleaning, Data analysis, etc.,
  • Establish "standard workflows" of business processes related to Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning, and Reporting, and record and share them with program staff,
  • Assist the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist in preparing monitoring and evaluation reports on the results of the project,
  • Perform any other duties required by the Project Coordinator and the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist related to program activities.

  • Prepare statistical updates in line with project objectives, analyze data, identify potential issues that may impact monitoring and evaluation processes and offer appropriate solutions,
  • Overseeing data collection efforts conducted in the field, if necessary, archiving joint reports and the data contained in those reports,
  • Training other Center staff on monitoring and evaluation processes and tools,
  • Informing project teams of actions that can be taken in accordance with project objectives in line with monitoring activities,
  • Participating in the development and improvement of data collection tools and ensuring that these tools meet project reporting requirements,
  • Measuring the impact on beneficiaries of the activities identified in the program,
  • Follow-up visits to the areas where the project is implemented to conduct focus group discussions,
  • Monitor implementation of program activities, provide monthly data to monitoring systems, and prepare quarterly project progress reports,
  • Coordinate program monitoring and evaluation officers,
  • Perform any other duties requested by the Project Coordinator related to program activities.

PROGRAM FIELD COORDINATOR JOB CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The "Program Field Coordinator" will work in Gaziantep within the project "Supporting Syrian & Turkish Children and Youth through Early Childhood Education, Protection, Empowerment and Skills Programs" implemented by Türkiye Kalkınma Vakfı. The duration of the work is 17 (seventeen) months.

The qualifications and job descriptions required of applicants are listed below:

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in social sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology preferred) from a college,
  • Professional experience working with youth, women, children and refugee groups,
  • Experience in early childhood education, child protection and youth participation,
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience (experience with humanitarian CSOs is an asset),
  • Very good command of English language (speaking, reading and writing),
  • Strong communication skills, problem solving and crisis management skills,
  • Results oriented, inclination to work in a team,
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet programs,
  • No travel restrictions.

Job Description:

  • Ensure collaboration and coordination between project components such as training, protection, participation and skills development,
  • Ensure that cross-cutting issues such as child protection, child participation and gender are effectively integrated into all project components,
  • Providing the necessary technical coordination in the provinces where the program is implemented,
  • Ensure necessary communication and coordination among program partners for the smooth running of the program,
  • Working with the program management coordinator for the smooth implementation of the program,
  • Conduct needs assessments to support the development/design of programs to be implemented in new project periods, provide necessary coordination for the preparation of monitoring and progress reports,
  • Establish and maintain relationships with public institutions and organizations, relevant civil society organizations and representation of the project, regular participation in the meetings of relevant working subgroups conducted in the region,
  • Organizing trainings, meetings and coordination meetings held within the framework of the project,
  • Cooperate with other relevant institutions such as civil society organizations, municipalities, public institutions, schools and universities within the scope of the program,
  • Perform other tasks and project activities requested by the program coordinator.
