Women's State of Solidarity Association Announces the Program of the Week for the Elimination of Violence against Women

Women's State of Solidarity Association has announced the program for the International Week for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25.

This year, the opening event will be held on November 20, the Day of Remembrance for Transgender Victims of Hate Crimes. Nayuk from SPOD, Umut Derin from Mersin Muamma and Loren Elvan from Keskesor LGBTI+ will discuss the issue of shelters and the struggle for shelters for LGBTI+.

An interview titled Women's Movement and Experiences in the Middle East is also on the program. The conversation will be moderated by Ruken Işık with Iranian activist and scholar Fatemeh Masjedi and Afghan activist and scholar Zareen Taj.

There will also be a trip this year. Led by urban and regional planner Dilan Kaya, an ecological journey will take place to discuss the impact of ecological decimation on women's daily lives.
