Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Vakfı is Looking for Social Workers

The social worker will continue case management of women from Syria and locals who have low income. S/he will provide the necessary case management follow-up and offer appropriate internal and external counseling. S/he will carry out identification and follow-up activities by organizing awareness-raising events, especially on gender and gender-based violence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement individual case management plans for cases under temporary protection,
• Collaborate with the project coordinator for each case,
• Preparing internal and external referrals of cases and making these referrals in coordination with the Project Coordinator,
• Collecting the necessary documentation of the cases, providing their documentation and systematically maintaining the documentation process,
• Provide direct, high quality and evidence-based treatment to women at risk and in particular to their gender-based victims in accordance with best practices and international standards within the framework of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence,
• Provision of Protection/Support,
• Responsible for archiving case information,
• Archive and store data on gender-based violence,
• Organize psychosocial awareness raising events to promote gender equality and follow up and register participants in the events,
• Ensure participation of Syrian nationals and local women in the community,
• Entering data into the YDV data system, tracking and updating data,
• Taking an active role in preparing content for open and closed group workshops as part of foundation projects,
• Preparing weekly activity plans and reports and submitting them to the Project Coordinator,
• Making the necessary organizations for the effective implementation of the workshops,
• Preparing the content of the trainings for the volunteers and conducting the trainings,
• Responding to requests for assistance and information through the Foundation's information line,
• Ensuring that beneficiary data is stored and organized in a secure and effective system,
• Preparing content for social media in accordance with the social media calendar.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of a relevant department at a college,
• At least 1 year of professional experience with a humanitarian organization focused on mental health, community services and protection,
• Experience with case management protocols is a plus,
• Effective use of MS office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point),
• Knowledge of refugee, child and women's rights and protection,
• Experience working with refugees under temporary protection is a plus,
• Excellent interpersonal communication and communication with different groups, partners and nationalities,
• Possess the ability to work in a team,
• Language skills: Able to write and speak Turkish fluently. Arabic language skills are an advantage,
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team,
• Ability to take responsibility and cooperate.
