Youth Initiatives Support Program for Social Cohesion is Open

Within the body of the Refugees Association, local and refugee youth living in Sultanbeyli come together and write their projects. Within the scope of the program, young people will share their views and suggestions on social cohesion and implement a project together that will contribute to social cohesion.

Youth Initiatives Support Program for Social Cohesion was designed by the Refugees Association as a program where young men and women from the local community and refugees can come together within the scope of the RESLOG Project. The program will contribute to the social and cultural cohesion and harmony between the refugees living in Sultanbeyli district and the local/host population and aims to support participatory activities. Young people who will participate in the targeted program will be determined by this call.

An environment will be created where young people over the age of 18 admitted to the program can come together in the Life Together, Migration and Social Cohesion Training can increase their knowledge and awareness about social cohesion, and exchange ideas. They will be expected to present a project idea by arguing for the solution to the social problems they have observed (social cohesion, early marriage, child labor, etc.). The submitted project ideas will be evaluated by the managers and experts of the Refugee Association. The applicant for the accepted project or projects will implement the project under the mentorship of the expert staff of the Refugee Association.

Young people's awareness of social cohesion will increase, their capacity will be improved in project preparation and development, and they will have the opportunity to present their ideas.

Thanks to the program, an environment will be provided for young people to dream, design, and realize their dreams.

Young people living in Sultanbeyli will be given priority.

  • The program will be in Arabic and Turkish.
  • A certificate of participation will be given.
