As Leyli Sanat Association, we are sadly following the devastation of the great earthquakes that occurred on February 6. Although we have individually offered our support to the region in the process so far, the fact that our association's activities did not match the primary needs in the region caused us to stay on hold. In this process, we thought about what we could do for the region and we wanted to make the upcoming April 29th World Dance Day much more meaningful. This April 29th, we will organize a solidarity night hosted by Jack Bar in Beyoğlu.
We want to enrich the solidarity night with the performances of you, dear dancers, and strengthen the collective consciousness. After your voluntary performances, our association member DJ Yiğithan Çimen will join the night with a playlist of world music.
Due to the capacity of the venue, choreographies for maximum 2 people can be included in the program. In order to participate in the event where you can take part in any type of dance you wish, we kindly ask you to send a letter introducing yourself and your contact information to [email protected] e-mail address until Sunday, April 16, 23.59 at the latest. Our organization team will contact you after the deadline. The donations obtained during the night will be transferred to local non-governmental organizations and will contribute to the education/training expenses of children.
