Need Analysis Report on the Development of Civil Society in Turkey

TACSO Turkey is the updated version of the report titled “Needs Analysis on the Development of Civil Society in Turkey” drafted in 2009 and updated in 2011. The study provides a comprehensive evaluation of the civil society and the environment that the civil society lives in while handling the strengths and weaknesses of the civil society putting forward their influence so far and revealing the challenges that may be encountered in the future.

The study is made up of a desktop research including all relevant documentation (both legal and financial legislation concerning civil society, as well as the former civil society researches, situation analysis, policy documents and academic literature) and a stakeholder analysis based on focus group, interviews and surveys with NGOs, government organizations, funders and other institutional elements.
