In the year following the earthquake, Young Lives Foundation used its previous experience in disaster relief, education, livelihood, employability development, protection, child protection and social cohesion to work in the areas mainly affected by the earthquake in Hatay, Adıyaman and Diyarbakır provinces. It continues its work in Istanbul, Izmir and Sakarya, which were among the provinces that received immigration after the earthquake.

The report, titled "As a Model in Post-Disaster Research: Youth Studies" contains the data of the study "Adolescents and Young People's Post-Disaster Experiences and Opinions" conducted on 1638 adolescents and young people, one year of studies conducted, observation notes, future studies and recommendations. The recommendations are aimed at civil society organizations working in this field, the public, academia and the private sector.
