About the Organization
The European Cultural Foundation brings together the policymaking process and practices with the aim of improving artistic and cultural expression and making an impact on European cultural policies and strategies. It does this through activities, funds, advocacy, publications and digital presence. Cooperation funds provided under the ECF support independent cultural organizations open to interdisciplinary and cross-border cooperation.

About Application
The institution to apply for a grant must be an independent artistic or cultural organization operating in Europe. The institution to apply can choose the project partner from Europe or the Mediterranean Region. The list of countries including Turkey is available on the institution's website.
ECF supports all forms of artistic and cultural expression with different programs (music, visual arts, dance, cinema, documentary, multimedia, photography, design, fashion and cultural capacity development). It prioritizes projects carried out with the aim of empowering people through arts and culture, bringing together sources of knowledge, and unifying cultural policies and practices.
Programs include Research and Development Grants, A Step Beyond: Travel Grants, Idea Camp Program, Balkan Culture and Arts Program, and Action Fund.
In addition, the Foundation runs a cultural cooperation program called TANDEM Shaml, which supports cultural dialogue between European and Arab countries.
The foundation accepts online applications. Whether you have the appropriate criteria for the application can be checked in the section on the website. Applications are evaluated by consultants and the application result is received within 2 months at the latest.
