Conducted through qualitative research methods, the study is based on interviews with both women who have experienced the protection system and civil society representatives working in this field.
The findings reveal that women have faced various rights violations since childhood and continue to encounter significant challenges in housing, employment, and social support after leaving institutional care. In addition to highlighting these issues, the report also sheds light on women’s experiences of solidarity and empowerment, underlining the need for a rights-based, holistic, and restorative approach.
