In the Local Advocacy Guide for CSOs Working in the field of Child Rights, while underlining that local governments are one of the most important and potential institutions in the realization of child rights, the guide includes the bases and facilitating tips that non-governmental organizations working in the field of child rights can apply in communication with municipalities.

What Topics Are in the Guide?

The four basic principles of the Convention on the Children Rights and the Children Rights are explained in the introduction of the Local Advocacy Guide for CSOs Working in the field of Child Rights, which consists of five sections. In the second part, the relevance of the child rights-based approach to municipalities discussed, while in the third and fourth chapters, how to develop cooperation with municipalities and their mechanisms explained. There are "good examples" in the last part of the guide.
