It has long been emphasized that children and young people raised under state care, particularly in institutional care, face difficulties both during the protection process and in adapting to social life afterward. In order to plan effective work in this field, it is essential first to assess the current situation from the perspective of those who directly experience the system.
With this aim, a survey was conducted to identify the needs of children and young people raised in state care during the protection and care process, as well as their suggestions to address these needs, thereby contributing to the strengthening of their life skills. This report presents an evaluation of the survey results.
