Leather Textile Shoe Workers Association published the Refugee Workers Report. The report listed the economic and social abuses suffered by refugee workers. In the report, which describes the difficulties faced by refugee workers during the days of the COVID-19 epidemic, 100 workers were interviewed.

In the report, it was stated that working life was at the forefront of the rights violations experienced by refugees, and it was also shared that the working hours were long and they could not receive overtime wages. It was also noted in the survey that the majority of refugees were not able to obtain work permits and that employees were working for lower wages than Turkish workers. The survey revealed that refugee workers do not have any social security records and that unregistered work is the most common violation of rights.
