While performing the framing and discourse analysis, between January 4 and March 31, 2021, A Haber, Akşam, Yeni Şafak, Calendar, Sabah and Yeni Akit, and Akit TV were scanned for news featuring LGBTI+ students, and a total of 51 news items were reached. The majority of the news covers the detention and arrest processes within the scope of their actions at Boğaziçi University.
