About the Organization

TANAP (Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project) is the transportation of natural gas produced in the Shah Deniz 2 Gas Field in the Caspian Sea of Azerbaijan and other fields in the south of the Caspian Sea, first to Turkey and then to Europe. TANAP Social and Environmental Investment Programs (SEIP) is an investment and development projects support program implemented on the TANAP route. The main objective of the program is to contribute to the economic and social development and conservation of natural resources by establishing a harmonious union with the ecosystem along the TANAP Pipeline.

Priority Areas

Social Priority Areas:

  • Investments diversifying tourism services
  • Equipment needs of schools, libraries, sports fields and common social areas
  • Increasing and expanding the quality of health services in rural area
  • Increasing the capacities of vocational training centers
  • Social capital investments
  • Increasing diversity, added value and productivity in agriculture
  • Production of local and traditional products

Environmental Priority Areas: 

  • Sustainable management of natural resources, soil, and water
  • Efficient use and development of renewable energy sources
  • Management of environmental infrastructure and increasing environmental awareness
  • Supporting the cultivation and economic use of medicinal and aromatic plant
  • Protection and development of biodiversity and ecosystems

About Application

Project implementation provinces are Ardahan, Kars, Erzurum, Erzincan, Bayburt, Gümüşhane, Giresun, Sivas, Yozgat, Kırşehir, Kırıkkale.

Local Governments, CSOs, Non-Profit Organizations, Cooperatives, Unions, Foundations, Professional Associations, Federations and Union Confederations, National and International Non-Profit Organizations, Universities, SMEs, Village Neighborhoods, Village Service Unions, Provincial Private Administrations, Investment Monitoring Coordination Departments, Organizations Registered in the Farmer Registration System and Animal Registration System and Small Industrial Sites, Directorate General of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM) Institutes, Parent-Teacher Associations, and Real Persons registered in the Agricultural Information System (ÇKS, AKS, TÜKAS, TÜRKVET, etc.) can apply. 

Grants are divided into two categories as "Small Scale" and "Medium Scale" according to the implementation period and budget of the submitted project applications. Small Scale Grant Projects have a maximum implementation period of 9 months and a maximum budget of 200,000 TL. The implementation period of the Medium Scale Grant Projects is maximum 12 months and the maximum budget is 1,500,000 TL.
