The results of the research show that women have difficulty in accessing health services during the COVID-19 epidemic, they are impoverished, the burden of unpaid care work has increased dramatically, and the violence that was already prevalent in the household before the epidemic continues. According to the report, 73% of women experienced economic problems during the pandemic and 73% were exposed to at least one violence.

The research was conducted by telephone with 1201 women from 81 provinces of Turkey between May-June 2020. It reveals the situation of women in Turkey before and during the epidemic under the headings of health (general health, sexual and reproductive health), economic situation, care work, and violence.
