The book “Nature-Friendly Agriculture for Turkey” was published by the European Environmental Policy Institute IEEP and the Wheat Association for Supporting Ecological Life. The book aims to spread sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices and to establish a standard in this regard.

The booklet reflects the outputs, recommendations and experience of the "Developing a Nature Friendly Agriculture Program for Turkey" project carried out between January 2006 and November 2008. The book primarily deals with issues such as water, biodiversity, and the increasing use of chemicals in agriculture in Turkey.

It gives concrete examples by presenting the results of the field studies carried out within the scope of the project. Based on these examples and successful practices in Europe, it reveals the opportunities ahead of Turkey and the measures to be taken.
