About the Organization
The Clinton Foundation was founded by former US President Bill Clinton with the aim of "strengthening people's opportunities to cope with the challenges of global solidarity". In principle, the foundation works with like-minded individuals, institutions, legal entities, and governments.
Climate change, economic development, global health, health and well-being, women and girls.
The Clinton Foundation creates initiatives related to its priority areas (such as the CHAI, the Clinton Global Initiative, the Clinton Progress Initiative, the Clinton Economic Opportunities Initiative). Each of these initiatives works in their respective fields and contributes to local CSOs, governments, institutions, by means of cooperation, assistance, grants or project creation and development, depending on the situation.
The Foundation's work for Turkey comes to life within the framework of the model implemented within the Clinton Global Initiative. In this implementation model, the Foundation creates collaborations with the leaders of the field to create commitments for the development of the field, rather than implementing projects directly. Detailed information about the initiatives and programs can be found on the foundation's website.
