The study states that green skills are not limited to the technical competencies required by the green transition, but also include skills such as environmental responsibility, systems thinking, the capacity to anticipate the future, and the ability to take action.

The policy brief also examines the Türkiye Century Maarif Model in terms of sustainability competencies and offers evaluations and suggestions for improving the current approach. While discussing how sustainability goals can be reflected in learning processes and concrete skill areas, it also addresses policy steps to support children's participation in climate crisis adaptation and transformation processes.
